grilled veggies

o   1 red pepper

o   1 yellow pepper

o   1 green pepper

o   1 yellow onion

§  Cut all vegetables lengthwise

§  Add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil or olive oil to a sauté pan

§  Heat a sauté pan medium to high heat until oil is hot

§  Add veggies, and 1 tablespoons of Marguerite’s All Natural Mexican Seasoning

§  Cook until veggies are tender. 

 

Grilled chicken

o   1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast

o   2 tablespoons of avocado oil (or olive oil)

o   1 tablespoon of Marguerites All Natural Mexican Seasoning

§  Place all ingredients inside a sealable plastic bag.  Massage by hand to get an even coat.  Let sit for at least 30 minutes.

§  Grill chicken on high for 7-8 minutes per side (or to an internal 160 degrees), flipping only once.

§  Remove from grill and cover chicken with foil for at least 5 minutes

§  Cut lengthwise

§  Serve with beans, veggies and corn tortilla

 

 

Black Beans 

Black beans and refried beans are a staple in any Mexican meal. Here's our family's simple and delicious side.

 

o   1 can of black beans

o   1 teaspoon avocado oil or olive oil

o   1 teaspoon of Marguerite’s All Natural Mexican Seasoning

§  Puree half of the can of black beans

§  Pour the puree mix and whole beans into a small sauce pan, combine oil and seasoning mix

§  heat on low heat for 5 minutes. 

Guacamole

Stop using those seasoning packets filled with chemicals!  Start making your own guacamole with your own all natural seasonings!

 

o   2 avocadoes

o   1 lime

o   1 tablespoon garlic

o   1 teaspoon salt

o   2 teaspoons Marguerite’s All Natural Mexican Seasoning

§  Cut Avocadoes in half, remove seed, and spoon into a bowl

§  Cut lime in half an juice into bowl

§  Add all dry ingredients

§  Mash with a fork, spoon, or potato masher until a creamy consistency.

§  Add seasonings to taste

Hamburger

o   1-1/2 lb. ground beef

o   1 egg

o   1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

o   ½ cup of diced onion

o   ½ teaspoon garlic

o   ½ teaspoon salt

o   ½ teaspoon pepper

o   1 teaspoon Marguerite’s All Natural Mexican Seasoning

§  Mix all ingredients in a bowl until evenly dispersed

§  Form into 3-4 patties

§  Cook on grill at high heat for 4 minutes a side – flipping only once

Remove from grill and cover with foil for at least 5 minutes
